When I consider a design for one of my creations, I consider how it might be illuminated when displayed, or whether illumination should even be considered. It can be magically transformative. I prefer light with a cooler temperature. Directionally, I have no preference. It’s a matter of how the light can make you feel. Consider the example below: The image on the left demonstrates illumination of the vase from within, accomplished with LED light strips, “cooled” with the use of translucent resin. The image on the right, of the same vase, demonstrates uplighting of the exterior surface from a lighted pedestal with a warmer light. Which “mood” do you prefer?
